Function

The high level controller
starts the pump …
… which regulates
the level …
… to a predetermined
low level.
The low level controller
stops the pump.
Through inflow,
the level rises again …
... until the
determined high level
is reached …
… and the pump process
begins anew.

Installation

When installing the level controllers make sure that they are suspended freely and vertically, that they do not rest on the base, that they can float without
interference from the shaft walls, pipes, fittings etc. and that they are not exposed directly to currents.

For simple mounting we can supply cable support brackets. The stainless steel support bracket is mounted on the wall. With the included M16 cable glands, one or two level controllers can be suspended freely at exactly the required height.

Electrical Connection

The level controllers are usually connected to a low voltage control circuit through a control panel. They may not operate directly on an electrical supply line, e.g. not directly on a pump motor – except Type KR1 und N1.

Maintenance

If correctly installed and mounted, the level controllers function is practically maintenance-free.
Depending on the medium's pollution level, the installation must be checked from time to time for dirt deposits and cleaned if necessary.

As there is no plastic, which is resistant against all media and temperatures, mix ratio, surface tension, pressure ratio etc. are also important; in critical applications practical tests should be done before usage.
